Info
After a much needed break we're back and this year we hope to show some of the coolest national and international art in the world... When we started these show we included the love show as a joke, thinking something would present itself. It been the most difficult show to put together as love is an often ignored emotion by artists and in reality it is the food that we all crave.

Wth this in mind we have assembled a show which has different view point of the subject. Weither it be romantic , lust, spiritual or just silly. We feel we've hit a lot of the target we set out to find.

The artist line up is a bit stary this time, with a lot of house hold names, well if you live in my house they are. But having work by David Bowie, Tracey Emin and Antony Micallef is a trill... These people are an inspiration and they seem to be having fun, which is always good...

The first record I ever saved up to buy was by David Bowie. I bought it in Easons on Henry Street, which is now Iceland. (How things have changed) I still buy his records because in his life and work he continues to break boundries. His love for his wife is well documented and the piece we're showing is a portrait of Iman. His wife of 12 years... The piece was done in 1998 and released this year on their 12th annerversairey... You'll love it.

Tracey Emin was definitely a Bowie fan... I always feel she grew up in public and this nude mono print.. was included because of its name .. When I think of sex and because during a recent Sunday Times article she was quoted in saying ..'I draw nudes of my self as I have a great body for it, so why would I draw anyone else'- There's no love like self love and we love Tracey.

Antony Micallef is considered one of the great talents in contempory UK art. I have been collecting his work for some time and all I can say is his angels will convert you to believe.

But if that wasn't enough we also have works by Peter Blake, designer of Sargent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. Harmony Korine of Kids and Gumbo fame and his portrait of ET and a friend. A shock for everyone... Kesley Brroks Hindu Love Gods. Plus loads more.

As usual everything is for sale for mostly under 250 framed
Hope to see you at the show

If you hadn't already heard, the infamous BANKSY has work on display in Dublin City Centre, 4 Dame Lane. Some incredible work framed and ready for perusal, in the comfortable surroundings of an Irish pub  (okay, the choice of venue could've been better but the work is worth it)

Libertine explores the ideas of identity and popular culture with the emphasis on the female form. This work has evolved from fashion and media. All the paintings begin as found images. The female is analysed, scrutinised and altered, but never deformed

His work deals with modern trends in fashion and societies obsession with youth and adolescents. This work is playful and kitsch. It parodies gender and youth and portrays the unknowing sexuality of innocence.

A trait of Flood’s work has always been humour, which is employed again in these latest paintings. Humour is used to disarm the viewer and allow them to invest more in the images. Through these seemingly harmless images comes a more sober reality. The ideas of youth, beauty, sex and excess slowly become apparent.

Flood’s paintings are done in a traditional style that breaks loose at moments but never abandons the subject matter. Libertine is a modern painting exhibition, which comments on culture and social trends.
